When traveling to St. Lucia make sure you check out our list below of things to do, or stop by and ask us directly - we'll even help you get a driver or guide to take you anywhere and everywhere you want to go!

For Nature lovers - Mamiku Gardens, Balambouche Estate are a must to visit. Beautiful walks along the Anse des Sable beach (over 1 mile beach stretch) with restaurants and our very own beach bar.  A wonderful way to soak up the sun, get wet and enjoy Island life.  Beach chairs are available for rental.  There are shaded areas as well as a few umbrellas on the beach. 

Brisk Walkers/Jogging/Running - The Vieux-Fort Town Road is a perfect way to walk/jog or run for those with the right footwear.  And walking to Town is not out of the question.

Mountain Biking -
Mountain Bikes are available for rental at the Hotel.  Take a bike and ride to the Beach, to Vieux-Fort Town or for the real peddlers, Cape Moule a chique would get the energy flowing.  There is also a perfect spot on the heights of Laborie (great view point).

ATV Bikes -
Tours through the Fond Estate on an ATV bike is also an excellent way to enjoy the day.  Refreshments and light snacks are provided on this one.

Horse Riding - Horse Riding has always been in the area of Vieux-Fort.  There are many horse lovers in this area and stables are located nearby with hourly packages.

Vieux-Fort Market - For all your natural products the Vieux-Fort market is an opportunity for you to see or purchase local produce.  Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cocoa Tea. The best day is Saturday morning.

Vieux-Fort Fish Marketing Board - We encourage guests to go and visit this as it is interesting to see they do it in St Lucia.

Shopping - There are a number of medium size malls in Vieux-Fort one with a major supermarket, pharmacy and local fast food, clothing, books, hair accessories shops plus and one with offices and shops (ice cream, tours, dvd rentals etc) plus.  You should be able to get all your general needs at these locations.  If you require Duty Free items, there are local buses that can take you to the northern side of the island or alternatively there are Duty Free shops on departure at the airport.  Please enquire at reception for more info on Duty Free.

Architectural Buildings - The Plantation Restaurant, located in Vieux-Town is part of a heritage tourism product.  There are other buildings which you can discover of the French Colonial types, also tunnels at the Cape Moule A Chique.

Entertainment/Evenings Out - Threre are manu good places to eat and enjoy from the smal mom and pop places that will offer you a taste of their home coocked favorites, to the high end resorts with restaurants and light entertainment evenings. Just ask!
